This large two-storey extension to encompass a purpose-built pre-school and a new community space on the first floor, was completed and handed over in October.
Designed in traditional load bearing masonry, with suspended concrete pre-cast flooring and a timber trussed rafter roof, the total area of this extension, which will enable the centre to offer greatly enhanced services, is 485m2.
Phase 2, a single-storey new entrance lobby area, along with over-cladding of the roof and other refurbishments, is on site now and should be completed by the end of January. PRO Structures is proud to have carried out all the structural design.
