WORKING WITH DEVELOPERS
“I can always rely on PRO Structures for a thoroughly professional, detailed and honest service. They really go the extra mile, never failing to do their utmost to solve problems which occur along the way.” – Clive Buckley, Project Manager, Persimmon Homes Wessex
Around half of PRO Structures’ workload comes from housebuilders, including national names such as Redrow and Persimmon, as well as regional firms including Prelon Developments, Land Promotions and Hall Bros Ltd. While many of these schemes are new builds, we have often also worked with developers to convert disused buildings such as hospitals and office blocks into much-needed housing stock.
We appreciate the multiple pressures developers are under to meet targets, both financial and scheduling, and the number of balls which have to be in the air at any one time to ensure a new development is completed and fully fitted out in time for its release date, constructed to the expected margins in order to contribute appropriately to profit.
Therefore, when working with developers, be it to design six bespoke homes on a small site or part of a far larger entity such as a retirement village, our focus is on adding value in terms of timescales, materials and cost, by providing the right advice at the right time so our clients meet their deadlines. Furthermore, our team has expanded considerably in the past two years, so developers engaged in larger schemes need have no worries about capacity – we are able to deliver on multiple and complex projects, as well as high volume ones, which may be going on at the same time.
Developments we are proud to have carried out the structural design for include:
- Lansdown Ridge mansions, Bath (Charlcombe Homes)
- Stanley Park, Cheswick, Bristol (Redrow SW)
- Station Road, Royal Wootton Bassett (Persimmon Homes Wessex)
- Weir House, St Anne’s, Bristol (Prelon Developments)
- Water Lane, Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire (Elan Homes)
