PRO Structures is proud to have designed major structural adaptations to refurbish and extend this property, previously a residential care home for adults with learning disabilities. It will be converted for use as supported living accommodation, which will involve changing the layout, adjusting floor levels for accessibility and removing the existing internal staircases, while the extension forms a new load bearing masonry enclosure for the staircase plus lift.
This fascinating scheme started on site in July 2020 and the refurbished facility will house six residents with a learning disability in one-bedroom flats.
