Full internal strengthening works while preserving the character of the building
The developer on this project, Ascot Group, is currently transforming this former independent primary school in Weston Super Mare into nine 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. This conversion involved a total strip out which revealed the necessity for structural strengthening. Consequently, we were asked to advise on crack stitching, wall replacements, roof replacements, new steel support beams and columns which would aid our client to achieve the desired build requirements, without losing any of the building’s historic character.
