Work has also now started on this 3,400 sq foot, £1.25m sports pavilion, being built by contractors Melhuish & Saunders Ltd, and is expected to complete by the end of the year.
The re-design for this one-storey building (reduced from two to meet budgetary changes) will have a fully-equipped community café plus kitchen area, and four changing rooms for sports teams. There will be also be a plant room, disabled lift access and small office for Patchway Town Council staff.
As the appointed structural consultant, we have worked alongside the project manager, Melrose Associates and the client’s architects, The Bush Consultancy.
