Former pub to make way for 10 new homes
This former pub has now been demolished to make way for 10 semi-detached plots which will be built into two-storey private homes for Highridge Construction.
PRO Structures is delighted to have provided the reinforced concrete substructure design, working with GeoTesting Services Ltd to ensure that the foundations can bridge over potential 2m wide voids on a site historically associated with mining.
Planning inspector JP Tudor cited nearby examples to show the number of homes proposed for the Shant site was appropriate, adding: “The proposed development would provide 10 houses on previously developed land, close to services, facilities, schools and public transport.”
This scheme went on site during the summer of 2020 and due to complete mid-2021.
