PRO Structures, together with Birmingham-based architects Daniel Hurd Associates, were highly commended at this year’s LABC Building Excellence Awards for their work at Verbena Court, Okebourne Road, Bristol – a development of four high-spec new homes built on the site of a former pub. The homes have an especially light and roomy feel, with high floor to ceiling heights and an open plan design creating a sense of space and luxury. The houses, built by Hawkfield Homes, were snapped up as soon as they went to market.
David Fletcher, Building Control Officer for the awards, said: “The judges have had a particularly difficult task this year due to the high standard of entries. I am therefore delighted to advise you that Verbena Court, 14 to 18 Okebourne Road has been awarded Highly Commended in the category of Best Small Housing.”
As highly commended, the project has automatically been entered into the regional awards for this category due to be held at The Bristol City Centre Marriott on 6th May 2016. We shall keep you posted!
