Our Awards

As PRO Structures has grown, we have been proud to be the recipients of a few prestigious awards in the last few years – and we look forward to many more to come!

October 2020: Bristol Property Awards shortlist – winners TBA February 2021

Our completed Pembroke Road, Shirehampton scheme for Alliance Homes to provide 16 new affordable units has been shortlisted in two categories – Transformation and Residential Development – at the Bristol Property Awards.

Our design to replace the existing second floor with a lightweight alternative made it both easier and more cost-effective in build terms. Meanwhile, we also worked with Alliance on designs for of a new 3-storey apartment building situated on adjacent land. The architect was Barton Willmore and the contractor Speller Metcalfe.

2020: Best Structural Engineering Consultancy SME 2020 Home Builder Award (SW) – Southfield Road, Bristol

  • Construction of a bespoke detached mansion on Southfield Road for Spring Homes on the site of the former tennis courts adjacent to Redmaids School in Westbury on Trym in North Bristol was completed in April 2018. This beautiful open plan, double aspect dwelling which makes full use of natural light and creates a ‘bringing the outside in’ ambience in harmony with the environment, boasts five bedrooms, four bathrooms and an integrated garage. It was designed by Angus Meek Architects and built by contractor B J Campbell (SW) Ltd.

2016: LABC Building Excellence Award (best small housing development, highly commended) – Verbena Court, 14-18 Okebourne Road, Brentry

  • This small development of four high-spec family homes on the site of a former public house in Brentry was designed by Daniel Hurd Associates for Hawkfield Homes; PRO Structures was proud to have carried out the structural design.

2014: Bath & North East Somerset Council Building Quality Award for New Housing – Crown Hill Lansdown Ridge Development, Bath (highly commended)

  • The prestigious Lansdown Ridge project involved the structural design for a group of four bespoke low-carbon 5-bedroom mansions on a hillside overlooking the historic city of Bath, for Charlcombe Homes. The buildings, which all enjoy panoramic views over the Box and Swainswick valleys, feature piled foundations with insulated concrete walling for their superstructure support.
